It’s hard to believe, but I’ve just booked my flights for the OpenOffice.org Conference 2006 (OOoCon 2006) in Lyon, from September 11th-16th. I see that EasyJet have now joined the print your own boarding card fraternity, although they don’t give you a discount for doing so and don’t put you at the front of the queue. Huh.

This almost counts as an anniversary – I was encouraged to blog as a result of conversations at OOoCon 2005 in Koper/Capodistria – possibly the best conference I have ever attended on any subject.

The French team will have their work cut out to come up with an even better  OOoCon this year… If you have any interest in OpenOffice.org – even as a casual user – I’d urge you to attend. It’s a great occasion.
