I’ve just uploaded the ‘tactical’ version of the why.openoffice.org site. This is intended to be a simple guide to the main features and benefits of the OpenOffice.org software package:

it’s great software
it’s easy to use
and it’s free

with a particular focus on the main target markets for the product:

governments and public administrations
educational establishments
businesses, especially small/medium enterprises (SMEs)
not-for-profit [...]
