This year’s OpenOffice.org Conference has attracted a record number of potential speakers. When the Call for Papers closed, we had received 95 proposals, which would be more than enough for four days of Conference. Unfortunately, we only have three days to fill

I’ve just consolidated all the proposals (33 pages of A4) and emailed them to the Selection Committee, composed of 14 volunteers from the Project Leads. With just a week to submit their votes, I confidently predict there will be a lot of hard decisions and burning of midnight oil.

I’d love to share with you some of the fascinating papers that have caught my eye, but as voting is in process, that might be thought unfair…
