Two events coming up demonstrate the spread of free / open-source software (and of course OpenOffice.org) in the Indian sub-continent:

• OpenOffice.org will be holding a project day at FOSS.IN in Bangalore, India on December 5th. FOSS.IN is now one of the world’s largest Free/Open Source Software events
• OpenOffice.org will also be featured in GO-FOSS - free training on Free and Open Source Technologies for NGOs and SMEs from December 1st to January 2nd in Dhaka, Bangladesh
