Why late?
July 23rd, 2008When we kicked off the Call for Papers for the OpenOffice.org Annual Conference, the local conference organisers started to panic when no papers were submitted for the first few weeks. Having been through this before many times, I assured them all would be well, and of course it was. We had the usual flood of papers at the last minute. The Call for Papers is now closed, and across the world the Conference Jury are busy reading through the proposals and voting for their favourites.
For the record, the proposals came in like this:

Would be interesting to see the absolute numbers, too. and the number of people who were too late but submitted anyway.
