How green is my Aga

We recently spent a great weekend with two of the most committed ‘greens’ we know. They were just starting lambing on their farm in Galloway, but still managed to find time to sit and debate the world, sitting round the Aga in their farmhouse kitchen.

I’m almost embarrassed to send them a link to a transcript of a ‘conversation’ between Guardian commentator George Monbiot and Aga Rangemaster’s chief executive William McGrath. Whoever runs Aga’s PR department must be banging their head on their desk this morning while moaning “No, no, no…” quietly to themselves. Skim read it – it’s a classic.
