I’ve just deleted a long email chain from my inbox – Welche Release-Zeit für 3.1.1? – When will 3.1.1 be released? For those of you who like to have the latest and greatest version of OpenOffice.org – apologies, we have been struggling to get the download infrastructure ready, and apologies again, the server then crashed under the load.

However, all appears to be well now, so if you’re still waiting, please head to http://download.openoffice.org and give it another try. It’s just worked for me! And yes, we are aiming to have a replacement download process in place for the next release, 3.2, pencilled in for the end of November.
